Kustom Checkout Solution

At Greatlife.ie, we use Kustom Checkout to manage your purchase in our store. Kustom Checkout is an independent checkout solution provided by Kustom AB, through which payment methods and delivery options are presented.

Kustom is not a bank and does not process payments directly. Instead, Kustom provides the interface and logic that displays the available payment methods.

When completing your purchase, you will be offered different payment methods. These are processed by separate payment providers depending on the option you choose. For payment, you may be redirected to a payment service provider such as Klarna or Stripe, where the transaction is completed.

To simplify your shopping experience, Kustom Checkout may automatically fill in your details if you have previously saved or entered your information.

Kustom does not perform credit checks. Any credit assessment is carried out by the selected payment provider.

Payment Processing (Stripe)

Stripe securely processes all payments made through Kustom Checkout. Stripe is regulated in Europe and authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland (reference number: C187865) as an electronic money institution (EMI).

Stripe is authorised to:

• Issue electronic money
• Execute payment transactions
• Issue payment instruments
• Acquire payment transactions

Available Payment Methods

Cards

You can pay using debit or credit cards from:

• Visa
• Mastercard
• American Express

All card payments are securely processed via Stripe. Your card information is encrypted and handled according to PCI DSS standards. Neither Greatlife.ie, Kustom, nor Stripe store your full card details.

Klarna

With Klarna, you can choose to:

• Pay now
• Pay later
• Pay in instalments

Klarna Bank AB manages the entire payment process, including invoicing and any credit checks. Greatlife.ie receives payment from Klarna, and you pay Klarna according to their terms.

Apple Pay

If you use a compatible Apple device, you can pay with Apple Pay.

Payments are verified using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. Apple Pay uses tokenisation, meaning your actual card number is never shared.

Google Pay

With Google Pay, you can pay using cards stored in your Google Wallet.

Google Pay uses encryption and tokenisation, ensuring your card details are never shared with Greatlife.ie, Kustom, or Stripe.

Security for Payments

All payments made through Kustom Checkout are encrypted and comply with European regulations, including PSD2 and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).

Card Payment Security

• No card data is stored by Greatlife.ie
• All transactions are SSL encrypted
• PCI DSS standards are followed
• 3D Secure authentication may be required

Cancelled Orders

If your order is cancelled (for example, due to stock availability), the payment will be refunded via the original payment method.

Refunds are typically processed within 1–3 business days.

Privacy and Cookies

Kustom may use cookies to enable autofill of your personal details (such as name and address) during checkout, based on previously saved information.

You can disable autofill at any time by:

• Adjusting settings during checkout
• Contacting us
• Deleting cookies from your device

Kustom, Stripe, and each payment provider (such as Klarna) act as independent data controllers for their respective processing activities.

Greatlife.ie never stores card details.
